D / a / L × B · opening size	Use diameter for round holes, side length for square holes, and overall length × width for slots.	State hole shape, dimensions and units; provide drawings for special patterns.
Px / Py · pitch & arrangement	Centre-to-centre spacing; the arrangement affects the panel layout.	Give pitch in both directions, straight / staggered layout and orientation.
M · unperforated margin	Solid material from the panel edge to the nearest opening edge.	Confirm each margin, fixing holes and bend locations.
t, L × W · thickness & panel size	Material thickness and overall sheet dimensions.	Give material grade, thickness, panel dimensions and finish requirements.
